What Is a Showcase Page?

A Showcase page is your public portfolio on WEIR. It's a customizable landing page where you can present your licensed identities, share your story, and make it easy for others to license your likeness.

Each Showcase page has a unique, shareable URL like weir.ai/look/your-name

Experimental Feature: Showcase Pages are currently in beta. You must enable experimental features to access this feature.

Requirements

To create a Showcase page, you need:

  • Pro plan or higher: Showcase is a premium feature
  • Experimental features enabled: Opt in via Settings → Support
  • At least one published license: You need content to showcase

Creating Your Showcase

  1. Ensure experimental features are enabled in Settings
  2. Navigate to Showcase in your sidebar (or go to /showcase)
  3. Click "Create Showcase" to start the setup wizard
  4. Choose your unique URL slug (e.g., "john-doe")
  5. Add a headline and bio to introduce yourself
  6. Select which licenses to feature on your page
  7. Customize your branding and colors
  8. Preview and publish your Showcase

Tip: Choose a URL slug that matches your professional name or brand. Once set, it cannot be easily changed.

Customization Options

Your Showcase page can be personalized with:

Branding

  • Profile photo or logo
  • Cover image or background
  • Primary accent color

Content

  • Headline (your tagline or title)
  • Bio (tell your story)
  • Featured licenses (which ones to highlight)
  • Social links

Layout

  • License display order
  • Visibility of contact options

Importing Branding

If you have an existing website or social media presence, you can import branding automatically:

  1. In the Showcase editor, find the "Import Branding" option
  2. Enter the URL of your website or social profile
  3. WEIR will extract colors, images, and text
  4. Review and apply the suggestions you want to use

Note: Branding import works best with well-structured websites. You can always customize manually afterward.

Sharing Your Showcase

Once published, your Showcase is accessible to anyone with the URL:

  • Share directly on social media
  • Add to your email signature
  • Link from your website bio
  • Include in press kits or professional materials

Managing Your Showcase

You can edit or unpublish your Showcase at any time:

  • Edit: Return to the Showcase editor to update content, branding, or featured licenses
  • Unpublish: Temporarily hide your Showcase while keeping the configuration
  • Delete: Permanently remove your Showcase and free up the URL slug

Note: Changes to featured licenses (like unpublishing a license) automatically reflect on your Showcase.

Tips for a Great Showcase

  • Use a high-quality profile photo that matches your licenses
  • Write a compelling bio that explains who you are and what you offer
  • Feature your best and most versatile licenses first
  • Keep your branding consistent with other professional materials
  • Update regularly as you add new licenses or content
